会の趣旨 / About the Workshop
本ワークショップは、行政学、政治学、公共政策学をはじめとする研究者が集まり、 日本および東アジアにおけるガバナンスと政策について、 多様な視点から議論することを目的としています。 今回の報告では、官邸主導と官僚制、災害検証、 メディアと政治報道、子どものウェルビーイング、医療政策など、 現代の政治・行政をめぐる幅広いテーマを取り上げます。 それぞれの研究を通じて、政府や政治制度、社会が、 変化する社会的・政治的課題にどのように対応しているのかを考えます。
本ワークショップが重視しているのは、 異なる研究領域のあいだに対話を生み出すことです。 各分野の高度に専門的な議論だけに閉じるのではなく、 報告者には、それぞれの研究を出発点としているより大きな問いや問題関心を紹介し、 異なるテーマを研究する参加者とも共有できるかたちで、 研究のアプローチや知見、その広い含意について議論していただきます。
また、ワークショップでは英語と日本語の双方を柔軟に使用します。 参加者は必要に応じていずれの言語でも発言することができ、 専門分野や使用言語の違いを越えて、 オープンで参加しやすい議論の場をつくることを目指しています。
異なる研究領域や視点を結びつけることを通じて、 新たな見方を発見し、分野を越えたつながりをつくり、 日本および東アジアのガバナンスと政策について より幅広く理解する機会となることを期待しています。
This workshop brings together scholars in public administration, political science, public policy, and related fields to examine governance and policy in Japan and East Asia from a variety of perspectives. The presentations address a broad range of contemporary issues, including bureaucratic governance, disaster review, political communication and media control, child well-being, and health policy. Together, they offer different perspectives on how governments, political institutions, and societies respond to changing social and political challenges.
A central aim of the workshop is to foster dialogue across different areas of research. Rather than limiting discussion to highly specialized debates within each field, presenters will introduce the broader questions that motivate their research, share their approaches and findings with scholars working on different topics, and discuss the wider implications of their work.
English and Japanese will be used flexibly throughout the workshop. Participants are welcome to contribute in either language, creating an open and accessible environment for discussion across disciplinary and linguistic boundaries.
By bringing different research areas and perspectives into conversation with one another, the workshop seeks to create opportunities for participants to discover new perspectives, make connections across fields, and develop a broader understanding of governance and policy in Japan and East Asia.
